Meeresschildkröten gibt es seit etwa 225 Millionen Jahren. Es sind die ältesten noch lebenden Reptili-en. Sie überdauerten die Verschiebung der Kontinente unserer Erde, Eiszeiten, Naturkatastrophen - und die Dinosaurier. ⁣
⁣
Diesen unglaublichen und fazinierenden Tieren wollte ich mich ausführlicher widmen und machte sie zum Mittelpunkt meines Ölgemäldes. Und wie immer, wenn ich ein Tier porträtiere, befasse ich mich mit ihm. In jedem Post zu meiner Meeresschildkröte werde ich euch ein wenig über diese tollen Tiere erzählen:⁣

-Von 350 Schildkrötenarten leben nur 7 im Meer,⁣
-sie können 4-7 Stunden tauchen, bis sie Luft holen müssen,⁣
-sie können bis über 25 km/h schnell werden,⁣
-Kopf und Extremitäten können sie bei Gefahr nicht einziehen,⁣
-sie müssen stundenlang nicht atmen,⁣
-sie durchqueren ganze Weltmeere (bis zu 100 km am Tag),⁣
-sie können weinen und scheiden dadurch das Salz aus ihren Augen aus.⁣

Sea turtles have been around for about 225 million years. They are the oldest living reptiles. They survived the shifting of the continents on our planet, ice ages, natural disasters - and the dinosaurs. I wanted to devote more time to these incredible and fascinating animals and made them the focus of my oil painting. And as always when I portray an animal, I deal with it. In every post about my sea turtle I will tell you a little about these amazing animals.⁣
-Out of 350 species of turtles, only 7 live in the sea,⁣
-they can dive 4-7 hours before they need to breathe,⁣
- they can reach speeds of over 25 km/h,⁣
-They cannot retract their head and limbs in case of danger,⁣
-they don't have to breathe for hours,⁣
-they cross entire oceans (up to 100 km per day),⁣
-they can cry and thereby eliminate the salt from their eyes.⁣

Drum lasst uns Licht ins Dunkel bringen. Denn erst durch den Kontrast wird es spannend. Um eine dunkle oder schwarz-weiße Zeichnung interessant zu machen, fügt etwas Licht hinzu und erweckt sie dadurch zum Leben. Durch den Einsatz der Beleuchtung, wird die Nacht noch intensiviert. ⁣
